Tangkuban Perahu Crater

Mount Tangkuban Perahu stands at 2070 on the sea level in height, 47 kilometers north of Bandung City. From long distance, it looks alike a backside of a boat. Famous legend says if it formed caused a curse by a mother that was loved by her son, Sangkuriang.
The temperature in this mount reaches 7-8 degrees of Celsius, maximum on 29 Celsius. With its humidity range reaches about 45-49 %. There are also five craters in Tangkuban Perahu area, all of them is Ratu Crater, Upas Crater, Baru Crater, Domas Crater and Jurig Crater. The craters are formed by many eruptions happened on 1829, 1846, 1910, 1926 and 1929.
