Lingga Village is situated at 1,200 meters on the sea level, about 15 kilometers from Berastagi. Lingga is an unique ‘Batak Karo’ village. It has traditional houses about 250 years’s old, but they are still strong until this time. The house is inhabited 5-6 families that have family relationship one to others. Also, there aren’t partition wall inside the house, with the other word, there is only one large hall on it.
This heritage tourism destination accessible to be reached using public transportation, 16 kilometers northern of Berastagi. Lingga village has also others traditional building like Jambur, Geriten, Lesung, Sapo Page, and Karo museum. Geriten acts as a place saving death-man bone from certain families.
