EXPLORE
Located only three kilometers from the center of Ubud, the estate, known as Tanah Gajah, takes its name from the nearby Goa Gajah elephant temple and is located on the fertile stretch of land between the Petanu and Pakerisan rivers. It was designed and created in the early 1980s by Mr Hendra Hadiprana, one of Indonesia's most prominent architects and interior designers, as a secluded hideaway and weekend retreat for his family and friends. After more than two decades of nurturing and love, there is a powerful energy running through the beautiful gardens, which are dotted with mature trees, lotus ponds and an ornamental lake.
