Jam Gadang

Dominatting the centre of Bukittinggi is Jam Gadang nicknames of West Sumatra “Big Ben”. The clock was constructed by the Dutch in 1827, it overloks the market and as always the Minangkabau design is evident in the buffalo horn design on the top of the clock.
