Mendut Temple

Mendut is a buddhis temple built by Indra lord, first lord from Syailendra family, located about 2 kilometers from Borobudur temple. Inside the temple, we can find three statues those are: Buddha Cakyamurti statue sits on properly preaching stylist, Avalokiteswara Bodisatwa statue, and maitreya the exemptioner statue. In the temple walls we can see many relief believed as kids tale story. When Borobudur temple renovated, Waisak ceremonial performed at this temple.
