Monas (National Monument)

Monas, the Indonesian national monument is one of many memorial monuments that built to commemorate Indonesian’s people force against Dutch. The monument certainly stand up on the center of Jakarta town. It’s built on Monas field’s area in 1960.
There are meditation zone and museum inside this monument. The monument’s summit can be reached by visitors using elevator, and from the top visitors can see crowd and fast Jakarta activity. This monument and museum opened for visitors at 9.00 until 16.00 W.I.B (Indonesian time). In around of the monument, has prepared any recreation area, garden, couple of artificial lakes and sport area. On Sunday and holiday, especially in the morning, many family members visit this public area for sport, picnic or just relax. On the nigh, this area being most magnificent place to hang out with friends, family or the love one.
