Besides has diving and snorkeling under-water world area, the other unique is a forestry area in the island center. The island ring-road has also been prepared to accommodate the visitors in order to visit all of magnificent tourism destinations in Weh Island.
Most of the society members, about 24,000 peoples, lives in Sabang the biggest town at the island. In old time, Sabang has been used as a major harbor of big ships and coal ships, transit area and being water source for those steam ships, but after diesel machine was invented after world war II coals didn’t used again and this harbor island became quiet.
