Lau Debuk-debuk

Lau Debuk-debuk is a village that has containing-sulphur hot water springs, often visited by tourists in order to enjoy sulphuric hot water blanked with cool mountain weather. The village is situated about 10 kilometers in the way from Bandar Baru to Berastagi, on the slope of Mount Sibayak at 2,100 meters on the sea level in height. The hot water shoots up from crack of lava stream at southern slope of Sibayak Volcano. This water are patched in a pond. And the pond is managed by local people and goverment.
At least, there are five springs that temperature reach 35 degrees of Celsius (at 17 degrees of celsius air temperature). The Mount Sibayak climbers usually use the pools for some relax on the way to reach Sibayak Summit.
