Tahura Bukit Barisan Geoforest

Tongkoh National Park which is named “Taman Hutan Raya Bukit Barisan”, located about 6 kilometers before Berastagi in the way to Medan. The park has zoo with is unique small huts wherein children can ride elephants. Also, it has been prepared smal paths into the forest for visitors who want to examine and look closely on Bukit Barisan flora such as many species of wild orchids, big ferns, wooden trees blanked with moulds and fungus, and many fauna like buterflies, birds and monkey species.
